My Past
Formerly, I was a very intense and highly competitive person, who lived by the "no pain, no gain" mentality. I didn't listen to my body, I was a relentless achiever, and I didn't know rest without sleep. I believed that emotions were a sign of weakness and that boundaries were selfish. I was convinced that I was so easygoing that I had no needs, so I constantly took care of others’ needs. I thought that true love meant taking on others' responsibilities to alleviate their suffering. Needless to say, I had a lot to learn...
My Journey
2006 was a year of personal suffering and growth. It began with two family deaths, emotional heartbreak, a painful diagnosis of ulcerative colitis, and a skateboarding accident leading to knee surgeries and six months of immobility. During recovery, I embarked on an inner journey, slowing down, befriending my mind, and exploring my feelings. In the following years, I began listening to my inner voice, making bold choices prioritizing health. I quit my job as a graphic designer to focus on art, studied yoga and sustainable living, moved out of the city to be closer to nature, and ended a toxic relationship to empower myself as an independent being. These choices drastically improved my health, expanded my emotional spectrum, and fostered a deeper sense of genuine connection.
My Present
Today, I live a healthy and fulfilling life in MINIMUS, my off-grid mobile home that I built in 2017 with the support of my family, friends, and community. I spend half the year in PA, creating art, teaching Yoga, practicing a sustainable lifestyle, and spending time with my loved ones. The other half of the year, I spend exploring this majestic planet while learning from nature, artists, and Earth stewards from around the world. My life is a grand and glorious adventure, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
