Minimus Tiny House
In 2017, I embarked on my greatest work of art to date - building a 240sq.ft off-grid tiny house on wheels from repurposed, renewable and recyclable materials. This project was by my childhood dream and disenchantment with conventional homes' environmental impact, personal energy/financial drain. With no budget, funding, or experience as a builder or engineer, I leaned on my creative super-powers, unwavering faith, and incredible community, and achieved my dream.
How I did it…
I built Minimus at Delaware Valley University as a public demonstration of sustainable living. I made the entire process visible and open for the public to learn and participate. I'm forever grateful for the support from family, friends, businesses, and community that made the Minimus build possible. Minimus is an ideal sustainable education tool with all the comforts of home in a tiny space. Minimus keeps me my relationship with nature and it’s resources at the forefront of my everyday existence and reminds me that I can make my dreams my reality.
